“Every entrepreneur has a starting point. For my family, that point was 1981 in the Banswara District of Rajasthan, where my grandfather began a journey in infrastructure that would eventually grow into the ₹7.5 billion Wagad Group. Growing up in a household built on concrete and steel, I learned early on that success isn’t just inherited – it is engineered through grit and operational excellence.
Before moving to London to begin my degree at Regent’s University, I made a conscious choice to spend nearly a year in the field. I served 7 months at Wagad Infraprojects Pvt Ltd and 4 months at Wagad Buildcon Pvt Ltd, rotating through departments and visiting active highway development sites. I didn’t want to just see a balance sheet; I wanted to understand the logistics of the machinery and the dedication of the teams on the ground.
Now, as I navigate the entrepreneurial ecosystem of London, my goal is to blend these traditional ‘ground-up’ values with international strategic innovation. This blog will be a space where I share my journey of balancing a multi-generational Indian legacy with a modern global education.
I invite you to follow along as I explore what it means to lead, to build, and to evolve.”
